A Better Drain Lance II is a Quest in Final Fantasy XV. 

"A master mechanic, Cid can modify mechanized weapons to unleash their full potential. If Noctis can obtain a bundle of coeurl whiskers, Cid will upgrade the Drain Lance II- but he may take a while"

A Better Drain Lance II Objectives

1. Give Cid the Coeurl Whiskers
2. Pass the time wth quests and hunts (Complete one hunt/quest)
3. Retrieve the weapon from Cid

A Better Drain Lance II Walkthrough

 After acquiring the Drain Lance II during A Better Drain Lance, this will be the upgrade quest for this particular Polearm. You'll have to take the weapon to Cid Sophiar at his garage in Hammerhead.  

 You'll need Coeurl Whiskers to upgrade the weapon. See the Coeurl Whiskers page for locations it can be found. Once you've acquired one, return to Cid and he will hammer down your upgrade!
