The Professor's Protege - Griffon Walkthrough
- First off head to the tipster in the "food court" in Lestallum, he has a mobhunt for a griffin. Take the quest, kill the griffin, and hope it drops a feather for you. If not, hand in the mobhunt and do it again untill you get the feather.
Notes
- It might take more then 1 try to get the feather. Use weapons that has a high chance of breaking off appendages when fighting the griffon.
- Its vulnerable to lightning and spears.
AnonymousEat some mother and child rice to help with the drop rate. There is also a level 53 griffon behind Coernix station that has a better drop rate for the feather. Save right b4 the fight and if you dont get it, just reload.
Anyone have any tips on this?? Killed a griffon 2 times and not gotten a feather yet :(

There is a level 53 griffin just north of Alstor Slough parking spot, northside of the rock formation, eat the food, mother and child for 50% drop rate increase and save just before to rinse and repeat!
