Upgrades in Final Fantasy XV are covered on this page. In the game players will be able to use Items they obtain from slain Enemies and exploration and use them to upgrade their Weapons.

 

Upgrades

As you progress through the game you will come across Treasures like the Rusted Bit. Rather than trade them in at shops for gil you can bring them to Cid's shop in Hammerhead and have him use them to improve your weapons. Each upgrade will revolve around a special Side Quest to complete. Consult the table below for a list of Weapons and the Treasures used to upgrade them as well as their companion Quests.

      There is an Insomnian pair of daggers that you get if you trade carrots with the man buying them at Cape Caem if you buy the 'weapon' option (4 carrots) at Cape Caem's garden.
      They are called Plunderers.
      Need to test if he always sells the same thing, but unlikely, as you get only one of the other Insomnia weapons (engine blade, drain lance, machines, ect.)
